Photograph caption dated November 17, 1975 reads, "Navy Lt. Cmdr. Kurt Stauss monitors a dogfight training exercise on a screen at Miramar Naval Air Station. Computers enable him to be aware of every move the students make. Trainees later view fight. The system saves $97.5 million annually."
