Description
A cabinet studio portrait of a woman and two younger women, Johnson Photo Company, Boyle Heights, 2109 East First Street, Los Angeles, California, USA, circa 1890s. The image shows the older lady, probably the mother, and the two younger woman, likely her daughters, flanking her. The view is landscape and shows the upper torsos and heads of the subjects. All wear very different dresses and varying colors and all have their hair pulled back, though the girls have more hair piled on top in curls. With soiling and rubbing, the condition is good.
