Text written to left of photo: "Chronicle Building 1906." Text with arrow to right: "Chronicle Building Market & Kearny." View looks south on Kearny towards Lotta's Fountain and Third Street. Teams of men with carts and wagons are working on the piles of brick left by the disaster. The Aronson Building at Third and Mission is visible in the distance. The Call Building is at the extreme left; the Chronicle Building at extreme right. [This photo was printed backwards.]
