Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on February 2, 1963 reads: "Bryon Pollack of Sloat, Plumas County, ran across this private suspension bridge over the Middle Fork of the Feather River at Two Rivers, Plumas County, yesterday to check whether the John Cooper family of nine had left their resort home on the other side. They had returned safely over the swaying structure."
