Description: L.A. County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution commending amateur and professional magicians who entertain in hospitals and sanitariums. Standing is Supervisor Herbert C. Legg pulling the resolution out of a hat. Kneeling and sitting (from left to right) are mentalist (magician) Jack Swimmer, Laurie Swanson, age 6, Timmy Burden, 11, and magician Gerrie Larson. Dated: Sept. 15, 1954.
