The article partially reads, "County and city planners have been thinking of converting Mulholland Drive from a narrow lover's lane to a spectacular scenic highway...It is hoped this proposed scenic highway also will serve as an access route which will enable the development of surrounding land. Developers are visualizing billions of dollars of construction to accommodate hundreds of thousands of residents within an area larger than the city of San Francisco.
