Description: Image of a forest path in Okoyong, Calabar. There are a group of women approaching in the distance carrying bundles on their heads.
Okoyong is in the Cross River State, Nigeria. It was here in the village of Akpap that Mary Slessor, the Scottish Missionary, lived for a number of years. In June 1888, Mary Slessor visited the Okoyong forest people.
