A small homemade biplane traveling from Riverside to Santa Paula, experienced engine failure, went through some powerlines, and came to rest in a large pine tree above the home at 11036 O'Dell Avenue in Sunland. The uninjured pilot, Tom Crowder, climbed down from the tree after the crash. Photograph dated January 1, 1985.
