Photograph of aerial view of flood in Azusa, showing San Gabriel Railroad suspended over cliff, California, 1938. In the background at center, a set of railroad tracks can be seen moving left to right. At the center of the tracks, a small ravine appears to have been created from a recent flood. The railroad tracks are suspended across this ravine with apparently no support. In the extreme foreground, a large pool of water can be seen, with bits of debris at the water's edge. In the extreme background at right, a large structure is visible. In the extreme background at center, open fields with sparse vegetation can be seen.
