Description
Photograph of a very old painting of the "Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes" at Mission Santa Clara, 1908. There is a Christ figure in the middle, holding loaves (?) in one hand while raising his other hand. His head is illuminated with a halo. There are five other men and one child crowding around him to listen to his preachings. A crowd of people stand on a hillside in the background of the painting. The surrounding ornate frame is basically rectangular with a semi-circle protruding from each of the four sides. An intricately carved floral pattern runs around the perimeter of the frame and is topped with a scallop. The picture hangs on a wallpapered wall. Three other pictures are partially visible on the wall.
