Description
Frank Nanny, Pacific Electric motor coach operator, calls his girlfriend, Ann Garcia, from a phone booth in the Subway Terminal Building to say, "come and get me, I got no way to get home. There's a strike." He is holding a bouquet of pink roses for Ann and his conductor's hat and a metal case are at his feet. A another man is partially visible in the neighboring phone booth. Photograph dated May 24, 1946.
