Atsuo Ueda writes Peter Drucker thanking him for his quick response to Ueda's request. He asks Drucker's permission to make edits to the Japanese editions of "The Daily Drucker" and "The Adventures of a Bystander" that will be published in October. Ueda goes on to say that he is now a professor emeritus at the Institute of Technologists, and can devote more time to setting up a permanent Japanese workshop on Drucker's management philosophy. Drucker's response is handwritten in the margin.
