Description
Photograph of the Mount Lowe Railway track at Granite Gate, [s.d.]. In the extreme foreground at right, the foliage of a tree completely lines the right edge of the image. The railway bed is cut into the steep slope. The trees and rocks encroach on both sides. To the left of the track at center, a large wooden pole can be seen near the mountainside. In the background, the track curves to the right around a large rock and lines of scrub brush. Mountains visible in the distance.
