Photograph article dated May 9, 1960 partially reads, "George R. Hearst Jr., eldest grandson of the late newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, is the new publisher of the Los Angeles Evening Hearld [sic]-Express. He succeeds David W. Hearst, publisher of the Herald for 15 years, who was named a vice president and director of the Hearst Corp." Note: George R. Hearst Jr. is pictured here.
