Medical offices became a Whitney Smith specialty; he designed two before 1949 and at least 14 with Smith and Williams. This refined design, perhaps his best, was made of concrete and wood. Patients entered through a landscaped area, now devoted to parking. The waiting room includes a private garden patio and a wooden screen for privacy at the reception desk.
