Description
Mathematician Sofia Lerner Levin, a Soviet Jewish emigre and daughter of Russian Refusnik scientist and leader Alexander Lerner (who was finally permitted to go to Israel in 1988). She was in Sacramento for a press conference and to speak at a lunch meeting of the Jewish Community Relations Council at the Woodlake Inn.
