Photograph caption dated December 26, 1961 reads "Steven Wyatt, 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wyatt, 1201 N. Keystone Ave., Burbank, has been named the 1962 March of Dimes Poster child for Burbank. He is joined by Dr. Robert Brandon, left, Burbank's mayor, and David Grubbs, community chairman, in announcing the fund appeal which begins Jan. 2. Steven was born with a spinal defect which caused paralysis from the waist down and dislocation of the hips. He has undergone surgery and is now learning how to walk. The National Foundation drive is aiding research in the fields of polio, birth defects and arthritis."
