Los Angeles Chinatown. The view is looking west from Alameda Street toward the Plaza. Plaza Street, at the center distant left, runs west from Alameda to Main Street. The tall building at center faces Plaza on the east side, several doors south of the Lugo Adobe. The building at the distant center (with mulitple doors and windows) was part of the "crib district"--the contemporary name for houses of prostitution
