Description
Carlos Carvajal is a renowned San Francisco Bay Area-based Filipino dancer and choreographer, affiliated with groups such as San Francisco Ballet, his company Dance Spectrum, and World Arts West's Ethnic Dance Festival. Michael McClure was a poet who was part of the San Francisco Beat movement and helped put together the Six Gallery Readings in 1955. Lawrence Ferlinghetti is a poet and activist. He co-founded the City Lights Booksellers and Publishers, an independent bookstore and publisher and an institution that is a significant part of San Francisco History. Video by Demystavision.
