Photograph caption dated September 25, 1961 reads "John L. Plummer of Sherman Oaks, Mrs. Plummer, and Mrs. Charles M. Masson, talk over plans for 23rd annual luncheon Oct. 5 of First Century Families in Statler Hilton Hotel. Plummer is grandson of Henry Dalton, who brought coffee grinder on table around the Horn in the early 1800s. Mrs. Masson is luncheon chairman."
