Description: Photograph article dated May 18, 1961 partially reads, "A Valley resident, Richard J. Thomas, 32, of Glendale, today was named community affairs director of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, according to an announcement by Frederick Llewellyn, executive vice president of the organization. Thomas, an ex-New Yorker who is a graduate of USC, will be in charge of all advertising, public relations and special events for the institution."
