Title supplied by cataloger. Paul Revere Williams was a Los Angeles-born architect who apprenticed with Reginald Johnson and John C. Austin. He set up his own firm in 1922 and was known as the "Architect to the Stars," creating homes for Anthony Quinn, Bert Lahr, Danny Thomas, and Zsa Zsa Gabor, to include a few. His Sunset Plaza Apartments, located at 1220 Sunset Plaza Drive in what is now West Hollywood, were built in 1934. Despite having been designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument no. 233, the apartments were demolished in 1987. Karen Hudson is his biographer as well as his granddaughter.
