Description
The Buena Vista library opened in July 1948 and served the community for over 50 years. A new Buena Vista library opened across the street at 300 N. Buena Vista St. in 2002. This photo, likely taken in the 1950s, shows the library interior with tables and chairs visible in main section. The Circulation area is visible to the back through an archway. Library patrons sit at a table next to a wall of bookshelves. From notes on photo: “Buena Vista Library” and “0128.”
