Photograph caption dated March 30, 1964 reads, "The Chordsman, Van Nuys barbershop quartet, rehearse for annual show of San Fernando Valley chapter of Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America. Show will be held Saturday night at Polytechnic High School in Sun Valley. Chordsmen are, front, Frank Adams and Earl Miller and, rear, Joe Farrer and Ken Jacobi. Some of top quartets in Southern California are due to participate."
