Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
The theater production of 'Call Me Madam,' starring Ethel Merman, was held from July 20 - August 1, 1965 at the Valley Music Theater in Woodland Hills.
Photograph caption dated July 27, 1965 reads, "No, it's not President Lyndon B. Johnson holding a beagle on stage with Ethel Merman. It's Valley resident Ivan Volkman who appears briefly on stage during the curtain call of 'Call Me Madam.' Volkman is production manager for Stanley Kramer Productions. He was pressed into stage service because of his amazing resemblance to the President."
