Description
George S. Patton, Junior and Maurice Phillips ride horses and hold flagpoles wrapped in greenery as they act as standard bearers for the Tournament of Roses, or Rose Parade, on January 1st, 1901. There is another man on a black horse on the right, and a large number of onlookers, especially woman and children, line the street in the background.
