Ed Berg, electrical engineer at California Institute of Technology Seismological Laboratory, Pasadena, reads chart of earth movement information transmitted from a recorder at Goldstone station near Barstow. Graph on drum, top right, recorded sonic booms picked up at Mt. Wilson station. Photo dated: December 20, 1973.
