When it goes ahead it comes out. Acts independently of setter. Operated by steam friction. There is 3/4" play on shaft. Front set works driven by transmitted power by rope on one side, steam feed on other. Mill cuts 110,000 board feet a day. Have 8 million feet in the yard from last year. Cut about 25% clear.
