Photograph of a group of Laguna Indians threshing and winnowing wheat at the pueblo town of Paquate, New Mexico, ca.1900. The group of three men and four children stand beside a rough wood post and rail fence. The fence surrounds a small pile of wheat. Another large pile sits on the ground in the foreground at left. They are equiped with a pitchfork, a shovel, and a broom. Dwellings of the pueblo are visible in the background (center and right).
