Description
This circa 1910 postcard shows a group of fan palms within a portion of Capitol Park. Often referred to as "California's Front and Back Yard," the park covers some 33.5 acres of space, with the oldest trees -- Himalayan cedars -- having been planted in 1872, with its earliest palms being planted in 1882.
