Maurice Prince, 18 years old, of Brownwood, Texas, and member of the Palm Springs Unit of the Ferrying Division, Air Transport Command of the Army Air Forces. The soldier, soon to be an air cadet, is shown presenting the corsage to the almost-grown-up Shirley in the lobby of the Desert Inn in Palm Springs where she has been vacationing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Temple. Pvt. Prince is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Prince of Bangs, Texas. Photograph dated April 26, 1943.
