Photograph of a view of costumed men and women in front of Engine 2-26 at the recreation of the driving of the final spike on Southern Pacific's Los Angeles-San Francisco line at Lang Station in Soledad Canyon, September 5, 1926. A crowd of costumed onlookers, including women and two people dressed as Native Americans, stand behind the train tracks that run diagonally through the lower right corner. Engine 2-26, which also bears the number 4326, sits at the right of the image. Trees fill the background, while hills are visible in the distance. Picture file card reads "Lang Station, Soledad Canyon".
