Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Brown Derby restaurant on Wilshire Boulevard, 1920-1929. The restaurant is at center and a large replica of a derby hat forms the front left corner of the building. The rest of the building is made of brick and has a terracotta tile roof. A sign on top of the derby is shaped like a hat as well. A tall building can be seen in the distance at right, while a paved intersection is visible in the foreground. Legible signs include: "Eat in the Hat", and "The Brown Derby".
