A road is visible across the foreground. A taller building can be seen at left, while the roof of a third building can be seen in the background. Photoprint reads: "Isabel Larkin, the daughter of Consul Larkin, the first American child born in California, was born in this house. First City Council of Santa Barbara under American rule met here".
