Photograph of a drawing. "New branch -- Artists' conception of the new Baldwin Hills branch of the Los Angeles Public Library to be located at LaBrea and Westhaven Avenues. One of 24 branches scheduled for completion in 1960, the 5,000 square foot, $97,000 structure was designed by the architectural firm of Hunter and Benedict, A.I.A. of Los Angeles." -- typed note attached to verso, dated 4 February 1960.
