Description
In this form, Luis Kikichi Sakoda requests permission to grant a power of attorney, as a citizen of Peru, to carry on the barber shop business in Catilla, Peru. His argument for why he should be granted this permission is because "until the time of my apprehension as an internee of war," he had been living in Peru. At the time of this request, he was residing in Santa Fe Springs Internment Camp. Collection of notes, articles, correspondence, photographs, and term papers collected by Yukio Mochizuki, a student at CSU Dominguez Hills, while researching Japanese American incarceration and Japanese Peruvian internment during World War II.
