Description
"The Sacramento Architect's Collaborative has completed 20 per cent of the construction design for Sacramento's $15.3 million Downtown Community Center. This drawing of the proposed facility was presented today to the Community Center Authority. The view looks northeast from above the State Capitol. L Street is lower right hand corner and the Pacific Telephone Co.'s office is upper left. The more that 50,000-square-foot exhibit hall is at left. Between it and the 2,300-seat theater is the proposed activities building. It will house meeting rooms, a kitchen and offices.
