Photograph caption dated May 27, 1959 reads "A check for $1,500 for the San Fernando Valley Youth Foundation was presented this week to Norman Caldwell, Youth Foundation president, by officials of the North Hollywood Junior Women's Club. The money was raised by a gala fashion luncheon held at the Beverly-Hilton Hotel and featuring a fabulous designers' collection from the May Company Valley.
