The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. A panoramic view of Beverly Hills at night against a sunset sky with yellow and orange hues. The dome of the Beverly Hills City Hall, designed by William J. Gage, is jutting up amid tall palm trees. Lights shine from buildings on the hills afar.
