Photograph caption dated July 7, 1964 reads "Pretty Linda Carpenter, Miss Mission Hills, helps Bowlium general manager Burt Shumacher, right, point out the benefits of bowling in the annual Midcity Festival doubles at his Montclair center as Don Howe, manager of Kirkwood Bowl, signs up for a squad. Howe will escort a group of North Hollywood keglers to the Bowlium before final date, Sept. 7. Linda is also queen of the midseason festival at the Bowling Center of Riverside."
