On January 1950, just a month after her divorce from first husband, John Agar Jr., Shirley Temple met WWII Navy Silver Star hero Charles Alden Black, and the two married on December 16, 1950.
Shirley Temple and her husband, Charles Black, arrive at the gala premiere of The Egyptian. Shirley, now a sedate housewife, once was the biggest star at 20th Century-Fox. Photograph dated September 2, 1954.
