Description
Photograph caption reads, During the first little boom, the Hotel Glendale was built at a cost of $60,000 in 1887-1888. It was a grandiose structure, but it didn't even open! The boom busted too fast, and the hotel became a school and, later, a sanitarium. It was razed in 1924.
