Photograph of two men and a train of pack mules in the Mojave Desert, February, 1912. A line of donkeys is angled towards the viewer, moving from the background left to the right foreground. In the front, George McAnany can be seen riding the head mule, while in the back, his brother Henry McAnany can be seen riding the rear mule. They are just southeast of Crucero. Panniers and soft cargo can be seen lashed to the mules.
