Edward Kuskey, at right, an employee in the auditor's office at the Biltmore Hotel, shows how he was held up by an armed bandit. Kuskey had just opened the safe for the day's business when the bandit appeared, with a second bandit behind him, and growled, "Stick 'em up!" The two robbers forced Kuskey into a closet, then looted the safe of approximately $1000 and fled. Photo dated: March 12, 1934.
