Photograph caption dated August 9, 1958 reads "Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bensteel of Canoga Park will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary prematurely today with a party at their home. They were wed Aug. 15, 1908, in Hicksville, Ohio. They have three children, 11 grandchildren, some of whom will attend today's celebration."
