Photograph caption dated December 31, 1958 reads "One of a fleet of 12 trucks which cover every area of San Fernando Valley every working day for Valley Pride Laundry and Cleaners, 5350 Harmony Ave., North Hollywood, which provides a complete household cleaning service. The plant is equipped with latest model machinery and employs a force of 55 experienced workers. William M. Chace, owner and manager since 1939, puts it this way : 'This is the day of automation, but people still want good quality work delivered regularly to their homes--and I guess that's our job.'"
