Photograph caption dated January 8, 1958 reads, "Ambulatory vet - Dr. Jack E. Baker, of Van Nuys, makes an examination of one of mares at Circle J Ranch in Chatsworth. Holding the horse is Charles Humphreus, in charge of mares at ranch. Dr. Baker makes rounds of most large horse ranches in Valley, working from back of his car.
