Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of Hill Street and Third Street looking west, Los Angeles, ca.1900. The spires and roof of a gothic church make themselves evident in the right foreground, while across the street two-story Victorian homes stand closely next to one another at the foot of a small hill. More of the city's houses, as well as the spires of some larger residences, perhaps hotels or schools, can be seen in the distance.
