Description
Photograph of people on the promenade along the shoreline in Long Beach, 1929. The concrete promenade runs from the foreground to the background at center and is bordered at right by a metal guardrail. The beach can be seen in the distance at right, and many people are visible as they play in the surf. At left, a row of two-story houses runs parallel to the promenade and is separated from the sidewalk by a large grassy field. A handful of people can be seen strolling on the promenade, while a man sits on a bench in the distance.
