Photograph article dated May 25, 1957 partially reads, "The Rev. Errol Owen Shour, pastor of the North Hollywood First Baptist Church for the past 17 years, will preach his final morning worship sermon tomorrow. He is retiring from the ministry - or at least from him pastorate - because Mr. Shour said that "so long as I live, I will continue to preach the word of Gospel." He has had a long and interesting career at the church and says that he would do it all over again - and even deliver the same sermons. As a tribute to the congregation, he said, "In all those 17 years, I cannot recall a time that was not characterized by harmony and kindness." A man who has seldom had less than two or three jobs going at once, Mr. Shour is planning to return to the practice of law on a full-time basis."
